Adjustment coming

There may be a dramatic change in the rankings when they come out today. Your team may have won this weekend, but dropped points or even places in the rankings.

Two things are happening:
1. an adjustment. The rankings I believe are converging and contracting. Just a usual mid-season adjustment
2. tons of so-called upsets this weekend.

Just a warning. Look at the entirety before you freak out about your one team.

It is also the first week where we have some of that multi-team circular reasoning.

for example
Gustine beats Three Way
Three Way beats Sidney
Sidney beats Gustine

Loraine over Rotan
Rotan over Lueders-Avoca
L-A over Loraine

and it gets more complicated from there...

You lost me at multi-team circular reasoning initially. But it seems to make sense in the bigger picture.
Ever seen the Spur stadium? It's cool, stands built into the side of a hill.

I am scratching my head on how Happy is ranked so much higher than Knox City when KC beat them by 40 this year. But again I have no idea how the point ranking system works lol. Enjoy your page very much I check it each week.

Several comments:
first of all, thanks. For some reason when I changed the ranking file, I eliminated the sort prior that the Why Test uses... oops. I will fix this this morning, hopefully.

As for the Happy-KC issue... you definition of 'much higher' is a little different than mine, but then again I am not a Happy fan. ;) nor a KC fan.

Happy losing to Aspermont, who lost to Crowell, is what makes this difficult. Fall down that rabbit hole and that week 1 win has less importance than more recent results.

the file is fixed.

I agree the Aspermont, Happy, KC is a little fishy, but not too bad. We will see how this plays out the next few weeks.

And that's all you had to worry about all week-end. ;)
Thanks for this site and all you do to keep it going.

honestly, it was a slow weekend for me. Had to be. 103 fever on Wednesday afternoon and slept or dazed cluelessly most of the rest of the week. Actually made it to the office this am. First time I have felt 1/2 decent in a week. We will see how long I will last.
