Fajita peta, I believe Der season must have gotten in your way! I think that you have been hitting the old juice way too much. Throckmorton at number 12? I believe you have lost it. But, don't worry, It will straighten itself out in about 6 weeks!

Even if I don't necessarily agree, I can understand most of how it could come up with the numbers. However, I am curious what is causing the Throck anomaly.

I thought Dawson was playing Loop for the district championship Friday evening but they are not even on the list. Did you get the big one?

Well it could be that out in East Texas there is a town called Dawson in a school district known as Dawson ISD, home to Dawson High School, http://www.dawsonisd.net

In west Texas there is a town called Welch that is in the Dawson Independent School District, http://www.dawson.esc17.net I have always listed them as Welch, so anyplace you see Welch, think Dawson

I actually used to call them Pumpkin Center, it's only been in the last 10 years they became Welch to me.

Pete I can't believe you have given into the eastern hype in DII. the machine must have coe from the northeast and is voting the same way. I thought we had atleast on right leaning conservative ranking system and now it has gone the way of th I35 corrodor also. Long live the conserative west!

It's PUNKIN Center Pete.

Guess that at 90MPH the words were a tad hard to read . . .

I remember when it was a real treat to go to the store south of the gin office. Oh the good old days.

Was that the Gin that was on 829 at 180? In the late 60's, early 70's I used to take 829 as a short cut to Lubbock, at Welch I'd swing over on to 179 and take it to Wolfforth, most of the time running 80-90 mph, lucky for me the good Lord takes care of fools . . .

The gin on 829 and 180 back then was the Cotton King Gin. It's still there. It's called King Mesa gin now. Punkin Center is about 5 miles south of Welch on 137.

There is no such thing as a shortcut to Lubbock.........................................

When I was fresh out of college and still prowling around, I lived about a mile off of 179. I had an old GM pickup that had an autopilot on it. Had to. It made the trip down 179 from Lubbock by itself a few times.
