Knox City is in. District Champ and Newcastle runnerup
And topped it off with a district championship. Next drought is a playoff win which last happened….wait for it, 80 years agoLest we forget, Prairie Lea made the playoffs, 80 year drought ended
Most district rules state that if you forfeit a district game then all of your previous district games change to forfeits. Which would mean Buckholts would be the #2 seed.yes it is odd

Was hoping to see some news here. Did the coach knowingly play the ineligible player? I'm not sure how you couldn't know a player is ineligible. I feel bad for the rest of the players; this has to be devastating for them.
I did see you post that on Facebook and maybe I'm reading too far into it, but it reads that the superintendent saw it and took action. The coach either, somehow, had no idea (not sure how that is possible) or knowingly played his player (not sure how this is possible either) and the superintendent pulled him. Here's a message from their superintendent.
The letter still leaves me wondering how the coaching staff did not know. Or if they did know, try to get away with it.As soon as they realized the player was ineligible, he was immediately removed from the game. Unfortunately for PW, at that time, the damage had already been done.
Here's a message from their superintendent.
