Reviewing the rankings and alignments for DII. Top 5 and 8 of top 10 are from the "East" (if you've ever been there how can anybody call Paducah East?, of what Amarillo?). Groom is 6th, Follett 7th. As the rankings are supposed to be a little more accurate this time of year, while anything is possible, "State" could be in the SF or QF in the East.

I hear ya! I have been watching D2 with great interest since Throck and Paducah moved down. Should make for some decent playoff games!

Well this means, strictly by the rankings it would be #1 vs # 2 for the East title in the semi. Of course Guthrie, Calvert, or others could change things.

Paducah moved down - but they missed the playoffs. Mathematically eliminated last night with a loss to Motley County.

MC knocked paducah out of the playoff picture last night. This makes 8 straight playoff appearances...congrats to them!!!
