Coach Injured at Practice

Just wanted to asks for prayers for Assistant Coach Zachary Coulter. He was running scout team yesterday and broke his leg, dislocated his ankle, and snapped the adjoining tendon. He is in a temporary cast, but will meet with the surgeon on Monday to set a date. He's a second year coach, so he's really upset about missing Week one. Your prayers would be appreciated as always.

That's giving it all for the team! Should have zigged when you zagged! Hope you recover quickly! I'm surprised more coaches don't get hurt that way. Remember guys, you're getting older.

Prayers from Mexican Englishman. Sounds like a brutal injury and lots of physical therapy. I have to ask the question though, why is a coach running scout team when you have posted you have 22-26 players? I could understand if you had 10 -11, but 22-26. Sounds like you have a awesome # for a D-2 school, even D-1. Just got me wondering.

I appreciate that ME. Three reasons, 1. He's a former offensive lineman from Bruceville Eddy. He's very similar in size and athleticism of Gorman's center, so he was a perfect fit.2. We don't have anyone better that could give our #33 the type of look that would prepare him for this weekend. 3. He's a 27 year old man who is looking to get his life under control and get healthy. A few years ago he was 400+ pounds. He has lost over 100 pounds and we're supporting his efforts.
Great guy. Terrible injury. Really look forward to seeing him back on his feet.
