Bloomburg

With Medina and Gilmer Union Hill coming into sixman (from crowded field)

And Bloomburg, Lubbock Harmony leaving ... and Fruitvale going to crowded field, sadly, UIL (public school) sixman is one team down from last year. I guess we can add White Deer, who played outlaw last year and it's even.

I just don't get how they could shut it down so quick. Heck even Patton Springs attempts to field a team along with Benjamin why can't they make it work?

Texas pride is Football nomatter the classification. This sport brings more pride and a sense to a community than any other sport. I hope they can pull it together.

In a convoluted way this could be a good thing. Might get the community talking, youth leagues starting, renewed interest, etc.
either that or they start a real good chess club............

When I was at Campbell we had a youth league two years before we started in junior high and high school. Granted the last two years the kids playing didn't play youth football. The group that played youth football will be freshmen next year. I don't know how many kids are still there from when I left two years ago, but if those kids stick around, they will have a competitive team.

Getting the parents excited about the youth teams really sparked the school starting football. It helped that the 5th and 6th grade group played in the super bowl the first year. They weren't playing a bunch of slouches either. They had to beat Cooper, Lone Oak, and Honey Grove. If you're from east Texas you know those three are pretty stout football towns.

It may just have been a matter of chemistry.
They were a big roundball school.
BB coaches get weird when football gets discussed,
but the support needs to come from there anyway.
Their location prolly didn't help any either.

Start-ups are jus hard.
Actually,
don't they also have a female AD?
jus sayin'.

Or a Bigfoot Research Club.
Location might be a plus for that.

I am saddened that they have decided not to play next year. I think they should have at least waited until two a days to see how many wanted to play.
I suggested that, but Petten told me the decision had already been made.

These threads always make me laugh....people speculating on a situation that they can only view from afar.
I went to a Karnak/Bloomie game
and met sixmanfootballmom up close.
She's Hot!!

2 things happened at that game
that led me to believe that
all was not well in Bloomie.

Perhaps you're speculating too.
Admit it!!
It's fun isn't it?!!!!
Bam!!
jus sayin'.
