Best Football Facilities

Brand new grass field with track. New bleachers, press box, and scoreboard. Next year when they get parking lots, etc finished, it will really be nice.
That’s great to hear because that used to be a terrible field. Swore I broke my ankle there one year going to make a cut and stepping in a hole & when it rained it was super nasty/sloppy.

The nice newer stadiums are great to play in and get a lot of attention during the playoffs as they get used as a prime location to handle the playoff crowds but I really like the old fields that are well manicured. They give me that nostalgic reality trip back to my high school days.
Agree! Personally I will always pick a well kept grass field over any turf stadium. Just something about playing on real grass that makes it “better” imo.

Rankin is one of my favorite. First Class.

An aerial drone shot of Rankin as the sun is setting would also garner a lot of votes. The layout, stone work, and color scheme and how it all ties together are just really impressive. I went and watched them play Balmorhea when I worked in Odessa. It would be #1 in my book. However, with that being said I think Borden County would be a close second. Their mesa in the background as the sun sets would also get some votes.

Some of y'all out west should contact this guy, [email protected], and get him to make a video. Check out his youtube channel
@TexasHighSchoolStadiums. He is the one that did ours that I posted on 1st page.

I know it won't make anyone's top list, but I am pretty partial to this place.

I'm one those that like grass more than turf
Same!

Also, I gotta say, I was at Newcastle last night for the Newcastle/Knox game. Their new field/stadium is very nice! They probably could've built some more stands on the visitor's side, but that'd be my only negative of what they've got there so far. Their school, field, everything looked very nice and they're still working on it. It looked like the had construction going on just about every side of the stadium. Hopefully they'll be able to get an arial shot of it all once they're done. I'd love to see it when it's finished.

If I could try and find the drone video of Miami, it makes everything look so much better. And yes I'm one those that like grass more than turf.
Miami needs to update the visitor stands. Holds maybe 20-30 people. Granted, everyone stands on by the fence ro watch the games. Home and away lol

Played my last high school football game there in 1999. Was fortunate enough to coach there several times in the six man ranks. Always have liked St. Jo. The gym there to me is one of the most impressive class A setups and the Dairy Queen is one of the best around.

Jayton has the best football facilities IMO.

I loved Saint Jo's field. They do a great job!

I agree that Jayton has the best facilities in the state. Their new home stands are impressive. They have changed their "one of the best fields" into the best stadium in sixman.

Agree, they have a very nice set up.
