And P.S., If he is actually "On the Market", he more than likely will not be anywhere near the best. If you want the best, you are going to have to pry him loose from his current position with thousand dollar bills!

Well I believe to answer "Best Coach On The Market" comes down to what school is offering.

Example : 1-4 (YOUNG & GREEN) coaches are on the market if the job is Benjamin.
Example : 20 - 35 (if not more) coaches are on the market (applying) if Borden County came open today.

I"ll use Garden City since they have a BASKETBALL OPENING.
I know it's BASKETBALL, BUT if this were GARDEN CITY FOOTBALL, offering 9500+ teaching, 9500 coaching stipend, there would probably be an AD stipend as well, HOUSING, FULL insurance, 40K life insurance policy, job for the wife.
You're looking at 20K from just the incentives alone. Who wouldn't want to add 20K to their salary.
I'm pretty sure there would be 20 or more candidates

I assure you more than 20-35 coaches are applying at GC and BC for the head football jobs when they open up
