In an ideal world, a 6-man only division would be amazing, but losing some of those non-football schools would be tough. I thought that the cut-off for 1A sports was 105? Why are we choosing to play 1A in some sports and not in others?

If the UIL is going to allow school to move up and down divisions in Football & Basketball, because of different reasons, why not have a 1A district in Baseball, Softball, and Volleyball?

The real problem is that we, the small schools, do not matter to the UIL. We are not a priority and I do not see that changing. Allen ISD brings more in their band than we had at our State Championship Football game... We don't make them enough money, so they don't care if we are competitive. Coach Moree is right, we need a voice... I just don't know if they are willing to listen.

Completely agree, I think we are much closer now than ever before. Vball,bsball/sball, and band should all be split. They have given us our spring meet and I believe Cliff Gilmore and those that are always in communication with the UIL are pushing for it. If you can make 64ish work for a state champion in fball, it can be done for the others.
