Strawn and Gordon learned long ago not to schedule each other for homecoming, but that did not stop the shenanigans from happening during each others teams' homecoming week. The fact of the matter is, this was not a district game, and very likely could have been a character building experience for both Aquilla and Bynum. I am not saying this was a rivalry game by any means, as no team named Abbott was involved, but that does not stop kids from losing focus during homecoming week, if that is indeed what occurred. I have seen the many different ways that games such as this, with WIDE spreads, can come out, and though this may have just been a factor of individual matchups or injuries, it really is a moot point now. Let's focus on the games that matter.
