I reworked a tower the other day. Put 8gb ram & a 2gb graphics card in. Hooked it up to a 46" plasma with wireless keyboard & mouse via HDMI. Played with it for a few hours now ready to move on to something else

Here's a nerd question;
the state prison system
and prolly it's contractors
rebuild computers and give them away to non-profits
like schools etc.
My wife is convinced that if we get some of these
they will somehow be used someday
when a convict gets out(?)
to steal our sensitive info
and fund a meth lab or something.
Is that really a possibility?????

So,
we ended up getting 20 laptops from this place.
Then,
another teacher ordered 20 more
claiming he could get them up and running before our tech guy.
Both were full of prunes.
9 weeks later and not one of them is useable yet.
I suggested making it a lesson for the business tech class.

I just don't get it.

Built a desktop business computer for a client of mine. Definitely the tiniest-sized build I've ever done.
Mini ITX mobo with onboard graphics, and a little AMD E350 dual core processor. 250gb SSD, and 4 gb ram.

I took a pic with my cap beside it to give some sort of scale to just how small that computer is - but the board won't let me upload it, which sorta defeats the purpose of this post.

Oh well, the computer is small and it is glorious.
