A sad day for me

Last night as we were leaving a team dinner, my Oldest younger brother (senior) Austin Swick brought something to light... Win, lose, or draw... because of my work schedule, this will be the last football game of his i ever attend...

Austin,

you have been one of the best athletes to ever walk through lifegate and I'm so proud of you for working hard to make sure this was the case. I honestly believe that you can play on the next level, its just that football+engineering degree is almost impossible in college... Today is the day that we play #1 Brenham... I have no doubt that you will put your team on your back and win this football game... I just heard from dad not too long ago and he says he loves you and he's so proud of you and like me, he wishes he didn't have to be gone so much... All mushy stuff aside.. This is the biggest game you've played so far and its time to take it to the next level... get the troops together and lets get ready for a true test... Fire 'em up in the locker room and in the huddles... this is your time, your team, and your legacy... I love you and its been one of the greatest joys in my life watching you grow up on the field both as a player and a christian...

Love you
Jeremy

Jeremy ... you didn't look well. I think you should stay home and get healthy. Maybe about two weeks or so should do it ...

yeah i think i might need to go to the doctor Monday and see whats wrong with me.... i don't feel well at all.... lol

In fact, I believe the prescription for your malady would be two or three weeks of bed rest, with one day of outdoor activity permitted ... Saturday afternoons or evenings. Maybe a nice walk around a football stadium.

Oh absolutely.... Can't be upset about that.... Our guys went out like champs.. They showed people that we ARE a legit team... The score still doesn't reflect how close it was though... back and forth throughout the whole game and they just came out on top when it counted....
