231 Points!

No one is bragging on Fort Worth Covenant? They obviously played a great game and RS couldn't shut down that aerial attack. RS scored last and won. Good win for RS but most fans would have expected RS to win by a comfortable margin. Either RS is slipping or FW Covenant Classical is on the rise, maybe a little of both? Guess we will know more about FWCC after their game with Strawn tomorrow night.
Actually FW Covenant scored last, then almost recovered the on-side kick at Richland’s 7 yard line. FW Covenant was scoring most of their touchdowns on 1-3 play drives.

Looks like FWCC may be the real deal. They played two of the best programs in the state back-to-back weeks and gave both all they could handle.
Yes, little Rigdon was out, but FWCC has been without their best defensive player for the last 7 quarters of play. Straw's size and power finally won out, but FWCC put up 97 on them.
Anyone who can put up 209 points on RS and Strawn is pretty good in my book., and they had a chance of winning both games.

Actually, their first two drives of the game were both were 6 play drives down the field, and they had some other drives. But yes, both teams were scoring on 1,2,&3 play quick-hitting drives.

Watched the Strawn vs FWCC game on the tube last night. Strawn was really solid in their run game(Garcia didn't take many prisoners and Grif showed everyone his wheels) and looked a little more in sync in their passing game, connecting on most of their passing attempts. FWCC was real good in their passing attack as advertised. Everywhere they slung the ball their receiver seemed to catch it. Strawn seldom had an answer for that. It was worth noting that FWCC would throw the ball into the end zone numerous times and Strawn never seemed able to get back and cover the receiver. Strawn scored every possession but one while FWCC turned the ball over on downs four times that I counted. Otherwise it was a zigzag track meet up and down the field. Would have liked to seen a little defense but none of the cheerleaders suited up! Duly noted that Grayson was not suited up to play last night.

Grayson is a huge loss for hounds, hope he is back soon
