You say that as if Jayton is in the same league as Gordon. Jayton is a great team but it wouldn't be a good game. Gordon needs to schedule a 2A or 3A team and play 11man to get the kind of game you are looking for.

Games are always about match ups of players. Sometimes those seemingly invincible teams trip on the turf monster and fumble the ball, once, or twice, or get rattled.

They probably took advantage of the long Labor Day weekend and visited the sights in and around Marfa. Otherwise, why not meet em halfway?

Gordon ISD had numerous other activities they took the students to.
Some students got to do/see for themselves stuff that is a once in a lifetime activity.
