Pecos Smith – Jayton – 6 touchdowns on 7 offensive touches; 4-80, 3 touchdowns rushing; 3-48 yards, 3 touchdowns receiving; 16 tackles

Smith played a vital role in the biggest upset of the playoff so far as Jayton stunned Blackwell 68-18. Pecos lassoed in three passes, all for touchdowns and galloped for 80 yards and three touchdowns on just four carries including the final 40-yard touchdown run to end the game via the mercy rule. His defensive effort was just as impressive logging 16 tackles, some key sacks and pass deflections as well.

Honorable Mentions:
Oscar Olivas – Grandfalls-Royalty – 24-275 yards, 6 touchdowns rushing; 16-31 for 196 yards, 3 touchdowns passing; 9 tackles
Another solid night for Olivas, but the icing on the cake was his game winning 9-yard touchdown run on 4th and goal for the Cowboys with 9 seconds left in the game as they defeated Lueders-Avoca 65-60.

Kyler Degan – Motley County – 29-371 yards, 6 touchdowns rushing; 2-54 yards, 1 touchdowns receiving; 13 tackles
Another game another huge night rushing for Degan as he now sits at #3 all time in rushing touchdowns in a single season with 69 and cracked the top ten in single season rushing yards with 3,372.

Ben Crockett – McLean – 15-295 yards, 8 touchdowns rushing; 2-42 yards, 1 touchdown receiving; 8 tackles
19.66 yards a carry for Crockett and scoring on over half for those 15 carries. He added a touchdown reception for good measure as the Tigers beat Aspermont 86-38.

Robert Hoenig – Cedar Park Summit – 31-41-0 for 404 yards, 7 touchdowns passing
31 completions and over 400 yards passing for Hoenig as he led Summit past a feisty Spring Branch Living Rock Academy team 64-41.

Keelon Caffey – Union Hill – 22-294 yards, 7 touchdowns rushing; 10 tackles, 1 interception
Continuing the trend Caffey put up a solid night himself running the rock for Union Hill has they had little trouble defeating Blum 62-16.

Isaiah Sampson - Dallas Lutheran - 27-379 yards, 9 TDs rushing; 1-17 yards, 1 TD receiving; 1-3-1 for 40 yards, 1 TD passing; 7 tackles
Sampson scored 10 touchdowns and threw for another and totaled over 400 yards of total offense in Dallas Lutheran's 97-52 win over Logos Prep.
