Anton led by as many as 16 points and was up 11 with less than 4 minutes to play. One of the best girls games I've ever seen. Pretty sure Anton could beat any of the four teams heading to Levelland Friday.

I was trying to compliment the Anton girls team. They played much harder than I thought they could. They gave Valley all they wanted.

As you know, Whitharral won by 56 in Whitharral and by 14 in Anton.

I'm going to say the 56-point game was a fluke. The girls we saw Tuesday night could not lose by 56. A fourteen-point spread could be worse than it looks or much closer than the score suggests.

Other team had several seniors.
Strawn has 1. Most are freshman.
Strawn's main scorer wasn't even hot tonight.
So,
I guess I get to see a game tomorrow.
Also impressive;
Strawn boys were there in rare form
to cheer (literally) for their sisters!
