So the plan was to finish the rankings up this weekend and release them on Saturday. Unfortunately, the coding was wrong on submitting the rankings into the site once they were finished and I didn't have time to re-write that portion of the site this weekend.

I'll be working exclusively on that starting tonight, as soon as I get home from work, and put the rankings out as soon as that is finished. I'm hoping that means tomorrow morning, but it could be Wednesday morning. Either way, it will be done within the next few days.

As I've told a few folks who have asked about it, in the future the plan will be to release the rankings during the first weekend of August every year.

COACHES: We're still looking for quite a few schedules for the upcoming season. Please take a look at the list at the following link. If your school is in either of these lists, please get me a copy of your upcoming schedule.

2023 Football Schedules Needed

Today I pushed out another site update that mostly has to do with the way archived games are stored. However, with that, we're able to do some more with that data. I now have the ability to edit certain aspects of the games (dates, locations, district vs non-district).

If you're viewing the archives from a specific team, you'll notice there is now a "Report" link next to each one. Please use this to recommend changes that need to be made. In a future update I'll be changing the way the main scores archive looks, too, so I'll add a report button there as well.

Additionally, while I was at it, I also added the option to add a link to a YouTube video of archived games. I'll be slowly adding games as I can find them, but if you'd like to get some submitted, the report button can be used for that too. Games that have a video already associated will be indicated with a little video icon, which shows in the main archives and on the team archives.

More updates are in the works and will, hopefully, be released in the coming weeks/months so stay tuned...

Today I upgraded our software to the latest version. Mostly bug fixes but there were a few new things changed that will improve the overall usability of the site.

That's right! I finally got my mistake fixed and we're now ready to start getting those 2023 football schedules uploaded! You can submit the games directly from your team's schedule page or you can get me a copy of your team's schedule and I'll submit them for you. You can send me an email, text or private message here on the site with your schedule.

As always, coaches who have their six-man account associated with their team can submit their schedules without needing to wait for approval. Otherwise, after you submit your schedule there will be a delay until I can get it approved (usually pretty quickly).

If anyone encounters any issues, please let me know so I can get them fixed ASAP.

I wanted to post another update regarding schedules for next season. I've hit a snag in the code trying to merge the archives and the current season, which is why I haven't been able to get things rolling for next season yet.

That said, I decided this morning that I'm going to scrap all that code (for now) and just get things ready with the current code. While this isn't ideal, it will allow coaches to start getting their schedules submitted sooner. I don't anticipate it taking more than a few days to get things ready to go. In fact, it's not completely out of the question for me to have it done by tonight.
