Some may not believe the same as I do personally, but with kids that knew, competed, and were friends with these kids, I would personally say go even a step further than just hugging your kids today and take a moment to discuss with them how quickly any of our lives can be over and make sure they have a real understanding of just how important it is to have a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. That, to me, is the ultimate way we show our love to our kids, as well as others. Not just when things like this happen, obviously, but these type of tragic events are always a sad reminder of just how quickly our lives here on earth can be over with so I encourage everyone to take moments like these to also self reflect and be sure that you, and everyone you love, knows how important a relationship with our Savior truly is! Prayers for everyone involved in this horrible tragedy and may the comfort that only God can provide be poured out on the community of BV and the family & friends that are suffering during this terrible loss!
