It was 69 here today, but rainy. Winter re-appears with a vengeance very early tomorrow morning when that front finally blows in.

They actually sent a weather dork out to Abilene from here. It was great. Standing in a completely empty downtown showing a temp of 32, then interviewing people at Monk's Coffee Shop.<P>Jeff Ward (former UT kicker and now a political talk show host) was actually mocking the whole thing today and had a fake sounder "BLIZZARD 2006!" and was telling everyone they needed to evacuate to South Padre.

Nice. Living in San Antonio for the last 4 years, I'd grown accustomed to having winter for one day. Good bye, SA. Hello, wind.

North Carolina is windy and cool (around the low 60's for a high.) Nice weather to run in, but horrible for jumping.
