WHERE IS EVERYONE??????

Oh great my kitchen sink is draining slow and my son's bathroom wasn't cooperating for a while. His is doing good now and so is mine. Got to have water dripping on old houses.
 
Well I know Cowboy was worried about the chill factor this morning and working in it. When I got off work this morning, my truck thermo said 1. Dont know what the wind chill was but it were cold up here in the panhandle. Wife had all the faucets in the house dripping. Mel thats what we usually do to prevent freeze ups here in the northern country. It stays pretty cold up here in the winter.
 
Swires I have mine dripping now after I went to my sink and it ran down slow. Then son calls and tells me the commode was frozen at his new house. We both got things working right by turning on the water to dripping. You are so very right on dripping water. Uggg I just think about the extra it's going to cost to run it. Then thinking about it again, it's better than broken pipes.
 
I feel so stupid during the summer. "Oh gosh it's too hot" then I wish winter here and it's " Oh dangit it's cold". I guess it's true, you can't please a woman.
 
Yes he worked but he pushed the men back until it warmed up a little bit. When he got to Waco from Fort Worth the guys came nearly running to him and said Patron it's too cold. He told them to come into an office where another Superintendent was sitting warmly behind his desk. Open book here. DSH got onto the Superintendent pretty good and told him to go get his coat on and go check the job from start too bottom. Of course the other sup said no. He told DSH that he built residential homes colder than this so he couldn't see why he couldn't put the other men to work. DSH loads them up to go to a cafe to have some coffee and breakfast. He paid. After they got through eating and got a coffee to go my DSH got out there with them. Didn't go back into that office one time because he was afraid of what he might do the the other sup. Whew lots of praying went on today. And it will begin in the morning too. He takes care of the men who work for him and today he took the other sups men along with him.


How did you do Cowboy? Are you in the same kind of business? You can layer up but you can't keep your hands from freezing with work gloves. Dang my DSH is still mad. He called and sent text all day and tonight to say I love you's and good night, he was still hot. He won't sleep all night. He has called a meeting with the higher ups so they will be there tomorrow.
 
Bearcat what is the town you live in. I kept trying to remember to see how cold it was gonna be tomorrow for you. Which will be colder because your in the country. I'm going to begin prayers right now.
 
Oh My Gosh are you working on a 2 million job for the government? That's where my husband is working? Where are you working. You two may know each other.
 
He hasn't told me which company he's working for. He just finished a Heliport in Desota. I'll find out in the morning. I've done so much talking to him about staying I haven't thought of asking him what he's building. I know the 1st sup got the Heart Stand backwards and MDH is having to fix all the goof ups. Does your job have a heart stand on it (thats being work on to correct it)?
 
Your drive is a lot further from Fort Worth. DSH was driving home every night but it got to him. Not getting enough sleep and having to get up early. Now he stays up there. I called him mainly to see if he was asleep and no he wasn't. He was watching a football game. He told me the men aren't starting till around 9 tomorrow morning. That's not enough time to warm up so I told him 10.
