Gates started the computers and Al Gore cried about all the climate control and claimed the ice is melting, our polar bears are dying and so forth. He made millions. Now I'm worried about an internet shut down and prices going up. Butch took me to the doctor today and I asked him what are those great big poles. I havent seen them and he told me they were entinna"s (sp) to monitor our computer and phones. I never dreamed it would happen but it has.

I kinda doubt that Melanie. The feds don't need any new antennae to monitor the internet/phone traffic. They are doing it now without them. Those are probably new microwave communication towers for the oil companies.
Some in the government want to turn over the internet to the UN, but I do not think that will fly very far. Can't do it without cooperation from the house and Silicon Valley and neither one wants that.

The definition of the word Conundrum is: something that is puzzling or confusing.
Here are six Conundrums of socialism in the United States of America:
1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.
2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.
3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.
4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.
5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.
6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries.
Think about it! And that, my friends, pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st Century.
Makes you wonder who is doing the math.
These three, short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our current government and cultural environment:
1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works.
And here's another one worth considering...
2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. How come we never hear about welfare or food stamp s running out of money?
What's interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second didn't. Think about it.....
And Last but not least,
3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens.
Am I the only one missing something?

Flats there's a lot of not understanding in me but I do have a soul. I know she does what the little o says and there's no morality in our government which can be said for many of our Presidents. Our election was a big farce, secrets held from the people, healthcare that is breaking the people causing no retirement when they can't work. No it doesn't make any difference now for the reason the guys died because we can't bring them back. But were taught in the Bible to speak only the truth. I suppose this goes along the line if you want to truthfully answer a question. I can't judge Hillary's soul but I can discern her actions.

Flats today I thought a lot of what you said and I've come to the conclusion that everyone is going to choose their own choices no matter what. It's hard to change a daddy's girl from a democrat if that's what daddy was and a republican or independent if that's how their daddy voted. I've yet to find one moral President in my day and age that was moral and won't mention his name without starting a big too do. Politicians don't tell the truth, they say what we want to hear. It's all a matter of choices then we have to live with the choices. My sister in law told my dsh that she would be a democrat till the day she died, then they started talking about Clinton. She brings the subject up about the blue dress and didn't understand what that was all about. Of course dsh and his brother die laughing. She is very intelligent (blonde headed) but smart and she didn't know about that. That's why I say daddy's girls will vote how daddy voted no matter what happened in a Presidency. The only thing any of us can do is live our lives the best we can glorifying God and letting him take care of the rest. Your post was right on.
