Week 1 cancellations/postponements

If a week 1 game has been cancelled or moved, please post here.

From what I hear about Houston from my relatives and friends there, things are bad. Stay safe.

Dave Campbell's had a pretty comprehensive list of 11-man cancellations in Houston and the Coastal Bend. (Most Houston area schools are closing all week). Didn't see any 6-man games on the list, but I expect as the week goes on, there will be quite a few.

Been in contact with Coach Bronk all weekend. Lots of rain, but amazingly everything else ok. Not sure they can travel anywhere now. I never realized they are 30' above sea level, but I guess why it's called High Island.

I know the Orange Community Christian vs Emery/Weiner game has now been cancelled.

The Emery Kickoff Classic games have been cancelled. I'll reach out to all the schools involved to see about hosting games at our place next week if their fields are not playable. But, with all this flooding there is no telling when any of us will be back in school or playing football in the Houston area.
