There was talent at the WV last year but not all of the kids went out for football. For whatever reason, and I'm not judging here because every kid has their reasons, the kid that finished 6th at state in the 100m chose not to play. Another kid, very good basketball player and a big target on the football field, did the same. Another kid, very good football player, tore up his knee and couldn't play. Jeremy Jackson was left to shoulder the load and, although he's a good ball player, one man show's don't often produce the desired results. I read here that the Head Football position is open. I don't know what happened with Coach York but he's a very good coach and I'm sure he'll end up somewhere and produce success on the field as he always has.
