How does Bronte have a game, they play crowded field!
Ira's second scimmage is with SC and Bronte; I was curious myself about Bronte.

Maybe the numbers are finally starting to change some minds there and they are going to give 6 man a try.

I always heard hell would freeze over before Bronte would go sixman. Last year's 2-8 record was their first sub-par season since 2007 and they made the playoffs in each of those interceding years. It's not like they've been on a downward spiral for the last decade and finally decided to give up the ghost and try this "sixman" thing. Still, the proof is in the pudding. Why would they bother scrimmaging with Sterling City and Ira if they weren't at least contemplating the move? I could see them playing a one-and-one with Robert Lee because of the natural rivalry and proximity but a scrimmage with SC and Ira? Hear me now and believe me later, if Bronte does go sixman we'll have another Throckmorton on our hands.

Although, I expected Nazareth to do better in 6 man that it has. You can never tell.

Yep, for sure.

Bronte is scrimmaging Ira and SC to give their kids a feel for the sixman game, before they play us. We will try to get in an eleven man scrimmage next year before we play Bronte for the same reason.

I can tell you that both Bronte and Robert Lee are excited to renew our football rivalry. I do not know if Bronte is going to consider making the move at the next realignment or not.

A very reliable source told me Bronte will likely switch to sixman for the 2016 season, and playing outlaw in 2015 has been discussed.

Well isn't that just lovely. Who's next, Wink?

My little brother coaches at Wink, and he told me that in elem and JH the classes were averaging over 30 kids. It's been a while since we had this conversation, but he really doesn't think their numbers will stay under 105.

Given its location in the oil patch, Wink may be one of the few small towns actually getting a few more families move in. Rankin is just too close to Midland to have Schlumberge re-open their yard.

I have a question about the Blum/Water Valley game? I thought it was supposed to be played in Hico but have recently seen it scheduled to be played in Water Valley. I really want to see this game and hope it is being played in Hico does anybody know where it is really being played at?

It was advertised in DCTF as the third game in Hico. I will be there to see it myself. Black uniforms in the middle of the afternoon, I hope WV brings plenty of subs.

I'm pretty sure the WV plays Blum @ Hico. I see that it's listed as a home game for WV but I thought that just meant that WV was the home team for uniform purposes.

FORESTBURG PLAYS FTWORTH NAZARENE not decatur homeschool they don't have a team. Just noticed it on the spread but Forestburgs schedule is rt.
