I wonder when Naz is going to run out of athletes? If those guys ever decide to go 6 man in football, everybody better look out!

Well they played nobody except seniors for the entirety of the state tournament. I talked with their football coach and they won't be playing sixman anytime soon. If Boxell takes another job, they I bet they are just about out of athletes ...

Their JH doesn't look too promising, but that doesn't really mean too much.

I wish they would go sixman so this infactuation with elevenman basketball teams could be put to the test.
In the last fifteen years three recent 11-man schools have won 6-man state championships--Calvert, Throckmorton and GC--that's it. That means longtime sixman schools have a 12-3 record against them. Looks like those little schools have done okay to me. Let's not automatically synthesize basketball skill into football ability, especially sixman style. If we ar going to do that sort of comparison it would be more accurate to go the track route: that successful tracksters make the best footballers. :shock: Now that may have some truth to it :!:
