Thanks to Coach Hudgens and his staff at Austin Hill Country for a great four team scrimmage with Concordia Bastrop Tribe and Summit. Typical first scrimmage where younger players on all teams were getting more reps and allowed coaches to evaluate the younger talent. It was good to see our guys compete against someone other than their teammates. Looking forward to hosting Richland Springs this coming Friday at the Pasture.

I think Blum at Milford scrimmage this Friday should be a darn good one. Two of the best teams in D1 East going at it looking to tune up a few things before week 1. Saw a few Blum hats in the crown this past Saturday in Morgan scouting Milford , so this tells me this is going to a little bit more than your normal pre-season scrimmage.

Big props to Coach Carroll at Cranfills Gap. Awesome scrimmage this past Friday night between them, us at Parkview, and Kopperl. All the kids were respectful, but got after it.

Looking forward to this week’s 4-team scrimmage between us, Oglesby, Trinidad, and Mt. Calm at Mt. Calm.
