Six-man fan
If you are an Independent or thinking about going Independent, We encourage your team and organization to consider participating in the Independent Bowl Series that will be held in Gholson, Texas, November 10, 2018.
Teams will be invited based on the final week 10 rankings of sixmanfootball.com. The teams will be matched in the 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, 5 vs 6, 7 vs 8 format. If ranked teams can’t make it for some reason, the order will be changed to make those games as competitive as possible. For example if the 2nd ranked team can’t make it, then 1 would play 3 etc.
Participating players, coaches and trainers will receive a distinctive Medallion, similar in size and weight to the UIL Medallions, with the Six Man Independent Bowl Series logo to commemorate their accomplishments. A State Champion will be determined and will receive a State Championship trophy in recognition of their outstanding season. The first Independent Sixman Champion was crowned in 2017. Morton ISD earned the Honor. We look forward to crowning this years Champion in Gholson, November 10, 2018. Hope to see you there!
