I know there might be at least one sixman coach who may care ... Bruce Collie (head coach of the San Marcos Home School team).
He got a couple rings playing for the 49ers back in the 90s.

As a life long Cowboys fan, this is hard for me to say. I like watching the current San Fran team. They can pound you to oblivion and throw the ball well too.

Go 49ers, grew up going to san fran to visit my aunt and uncle and they always(still) have season tickets. Trying to get to New Orleans for the big game.

I have not watched a complete NFL game since early October. I doubt I have seen more than 10 minutes of NFL action/inaction combined since then. Same goes for college ball.
I don't miss it at all. ESPN has ruined every sport it has been allowed to touch, and the stupidity of Roger Goodell only magnifies the shell of its former self the NFL has become.
But I could be wrong.

I believe he allegedly murdered his girlfriend in florida, while at the University of Miami. Before he was an NFl star. I could be wrong though.

I was wrong, I always forget he was involved in the Atlanta murder, and Ray Caruth from Carolina was the one that murdered his girlfriend. Ray was acquitted of all murder charges, other then obstruction of justice. I think in a stabbing you would be able to get some pretty good evidence, but then again we all saw what happened to OJ even though he was driving a bronco pretty much doused in blood.

I care.... behind my non-existent Oilers, the 49ers were my second favorite team. My dad moved to SF back in the mid-70s for a few years and is a huge Cowboys fan. As a teenager, what team could get my old man more irritated than any? -- the 49ers.... thus I loved them....
