Sterling City

Kramer,

Don't think for a moment I am trying to discount the hire of Coach Tyler, I am very excited at the notion of making deep playoff runs into December year in and year out. I am just saying don't discount what Coach Thompson did for our community. I remember not too long ago watching this past bunch of seniors in JH and I can say firsthand from where they were and what they accomplished this year is truly a remarkable work of art that Coach Thompson performed. We experienced success on every level and our JV was truly beauty in motion. Most of those kids will now be playing on Friday nights. Coach Tyler is truly an amazing hire but without current success I don't really think he would have given us the time of day to build a program from scratch. Speaking of scratch, why would Coach Tyler leave his program considering the amount of talent returning there? Valley has some kids that are young and can run as evidenced at the state meet. Makes me wonder if we are on the verge of bringing some major hardware here to pry him away from something like that. Coach Tyler, do you have the phone number to Jostens on speed dial?

Coach Tyler is one of the greatest coaches of all time. I don't think people realize how much he meant to Valley, he made them. I believe Valley will be dropping off without him there. Now Sterling City y'alls program is now going to be on the rise. I mean if y'all aren't extremely successful the first year, trust me y'all will be the second.

Tyler has made deep runs with average athletes. You give him good athletes, he makes a great team. Tyler has a talent. It's a rare one. He gets kids to play above and beyond their normal means. He is, in my opinion, one of the best six man coaches we have ever seen. I am sad to say that Valley really blew it. From what I heard, they pissed on the man that made them relevant.

All this talk about how great a coach we are getting makes me get all tingly inside. We have phenomenal athletes in the high school and with what is coming in the younger grades, we are on the verge of something special. Coach Tyler, when are you getting into town? Haven't seen a golden chariot pull in yet, but sounds like you might own one.
