And to answer your question, some teams are pushing out 40+ players consistently. What do they do? I would say more JV games. Never heard of a freshman team in 6man before.
Zephyr had a freshman team once, but that was as at least 4-5 years ago.And to answer your question, some teams are pushing out 40+ players consistently. What do they do? I would say more JV games. Never heard of a freshman team in 6man before.
Really? I had no clue! I feel like that is a very rare thing to ever happen in sixman.Zephyr had a freshman team once, but that was as at least 4-5 years ago.
Fruitvale, high enrollment but very few out for footballI really don’t think raising the number is the answer, there are already several schools (that this thread is dedicated to) that don’t want to play sixman…raising the number won’t change that. I doubt very many would even entertain the thought of playing sixman.
The UIL could raise the number and make an 8-man division, but there are some logistical issues with that. Several schools would have to change their stadiums (one way or the other).
Or the UIL could set the number wherever and stop giving schools the option of which game they play. Force them to play sixman. But again, logistical issues for schools that bounce back and forth over that number.
Thanks, have also seen that Ralls is 1A eligibleIraan had 98
Dumb and dumber...Ralls 104, Crosbyton 84, both will opt up for 11-man
