Six man records

Lone Oak is D3D2 now. It's in North Texas north of the metromess. Flat is SE of Gatesville
The County road I live off of is still labeled as Lone Oak Rd. on google maps. Still a Lone Oak church down the road and around the corner. This is about 5 miles south of Stephenville. There was a 2 story rock school shell falling down back the other way when we first moved here (16 yeas ago). The old man we bought land from said he played basketball there, called it the Lone Oak school. It's been fully torn down now. Thought they might have been talking about it. Another 5 miles further south was Alexandar, where I've been told they did play sixman.

I wouldnt be surprised if there were many small schools named Lone Oak by creeks named Lone Oak all over Texas prior to the mass consolidations in the 1926-46 era

I looked up some game article for Walnut Springs during that time and in 1956 one of their players was killed in a game vs Sparks, Jerry Morrison sad to read that. I think 1955 was Walnuts first season in 6man
