Is there any MLB player that played Six-Man football currently playing in the MLB???
I ran across a former baseball player who did play six-man football in HS...but not in Texas.
Roy Face - who played in the majors from 1953-1969 and he was one of the first modern closers, playing mainly for the Pirates.
In the September 1959 issue of "Baseball Digest" there is a nice article about Roy Face and in it (page 15) he talks about how he was a Fullback on his HS football team in Stephentown, NY...and in the article he explains it was Six-Man football.
