Heard they will be better than last year. They will have a new QB as their starter from last year graduated but I believe this one is seasoned enough to do quite well in their system. Always nice when you can slide a kid into the system without having to reinvent the wheel..

SMCA does have some fresh faces to go along with some existing talent as well as a great new HC, so should at least be a fun season.

Question, how many teams in the district make the playoffs?

My guess is with the small districts in the south that they would probably take 3.
District 3
SMHC
Fredericksburg
Summit
and
District 4
Baytown
Orange
St Francis or Bellville

TAPPS could revert back to wild card points system for playoffs. So they may not take a set number from each district. 1st place is guaranteed then they do wild card points for everyone else.
If they do like the last 2 years they take everyone but last place in football. If they do it like other sports have been set up, they will only take 2 teams because it's a 4 team district.
