So, a successful Round One is under our belts. In the top half of the bracket there were two "surprises," the smaller of the two was Brownwood taking down Lubbock CTK. The biggest "surprise" was Freddy beating Notre Dame on their home field. I picked this game as a toss up, and looking at the score, it could have gone either way.
The bottom half of the bracket went as planned with the higher seeds winning out. This sets up some intriguing second round match-ups.
Granbury vs. Lubbock KPA- I think Granbury will beat the point spread and will roll.
Brownwood vs. Freddy- Look for Freddy to continue its' tradition of winning.
Seguin vs. Heath- This is my toss-up game of the week. I think it's going to be a score-fest. The winner will be the best conditioned team.
Castle vs. Alvin- Castle will pound down Alvin. #5 from Castle is the real deal.
