Who knows what can happen in the world of 6-man. As good as Gordon is, they have a target on their back every game. As a rule, I think, the fans will pull for the underdog most of the time. Would it be a shame if someone slipped up on Gordon and they didn’t go to Jerry World except like me, buying a ticked. What about Jayton in D2? I love High School Football, especially 6-man.

Yeah, that was exactly why I did it. I figured it would just be a 200-way tie for first place with everyone copying your picks.
Just as an FYI, I have identified an error in the code that calculates the points. I do know what the problem is, and I will be able to fix it. However, that fix is going to take a lot longer than what I have to spend on it tonight so I'll get to work on that tomorrow morning. This may affect all brackets (UIL and TAPPS). Anyways, just a heads-up. It will be fixed at some point tomorrow morning.

How does this point system work? I've only missed two and setting 34th with 12 points. The Wesp has missed 3 and is above me with 14 points.

That's the old way. Now we're trying a new way.
I do believe I've got the error fixed, and I just re-submitted all the scores so that the bracket point totals would re-calculate for each game. Please let me know, now, if y'all notice an error with your points. You should have two points for each correct game picked in the first round. Next round each correct game should be worth four, then eight, and so on.

Pontificating??? Not sure my comment was that at all?! Just stating the facts, still have lots of season left to play and yes Gordon should be the favorite but I'm not sure they should be crowned the winner until the games have been played. If you must repeat their record that we are all very aware of to make yourself more self assured then by all means "Get It"! HAHAHA
I'll be posting an update to the playoff brackets later today, but I just wanted to share something I noticed while working on it today. Assuming my calculations are correct, after the first-round of playoffs there are no perfect brackets remaining in UIL DI or UIL DII. There are still quite a few perfect brackets in all the TAPPS divisions, but a lot of games to be played today.
Longhorn85, don’t google those fancy words so that I have to google them to find out the meaning. There are several that went out on a limb and did not pick Gordon to win it all. That is the excitement of all high school football. We want to try to keep up a little suspense so more than just the Gordon faithful show up for the game. I didn’t even pick Gordon to make it to Jerry World. If it was real money on the line I probably would have but I like to have a little fun and go out on a short limb every once in a while and saw it off between me and the tree. If I can’t tell a good one on some one else, I will tell one on myself. There is the ignore button when I get on your nerves.
