In Hico, where I understand there will be some sixman action this weekend, you really need to stop by the Koffee Kup Kafe. I have never met a pie there I didn't like.
As my old uncle used to say, " that piece of pie is bigger than a mule's lip".

the Blue Bonnet is certainly high on the list also. The only problem there is, as the great Yogi Berra said, " Nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded"

For the great Texas staple, Pecan Pie, you have to go to san saba of course.

That calf slobber on those pies in Hico is pretty darn high. Good pie and if your lucky you can eat with those old boys with the white sheets. Just joshing.

I'm partial to the chocolate, but people swear by the coconut.
