Can you send me your formula please. I don’t want the fill in the blanks one either. You definitely have a variable when the season starts. If your competitions ranking is involved your throwing who you want in at the very beginning which would be the first mistake I know some of them could be from the previous state championship but there after shouldn’t be. Say what you want but West Texas teams take preference first.
 
lol let your team do the talking on the field. Respect was never earned on an online message board. Not to speak for Granger but I'm about 99% sure that the rankings are for fun only and have absolutely no bearing on what happens on the field. If your team wins state or makes a deep playoff run in ten years nobody is going to remember where they were ranked. They'll remember them for their championship/playoff wins. Take a deep breath and R-E-L-A-X.
 
My kids have ask about the rankings and don't understand them. My wife is a Math teacher and educates the kids a little bit in class. Whatever that means. Lol. Thanks Granger for doing it week in and out. We take it for granted in the sixman community. I know I have in the past but NOT now. . I dont understanding completely as we beat a team last year and week 1 this year we were 63 point underdog before games even started. However, that was a huge motivator for my boys. . This is paper and doesn't mean anything really. Let the district games decide who is the best.

No...Tobyvan got pissy and cursed out Granger because his team wasn't ranked where he wanted it to be. He has since edited his original comment and changed the name of the thread.

Tell Her to get them to conquer logarithms and they will understand.
Though I never passed them beyond a (Very) general understanding.

Well that's just wrong. It's not entirely for fun. I believe Granger takes the rankings and site seriously. Otherwise we wouldn't have them. Without his masters thesis, in basically math, and his web knowledge, we wouldn't be communicating now.

I’m pretty sure this is a kid from Forestburg being upset about how they aren’t number 1 in division 1 and how Strawn isn’t number 1 in division 2 (Strawn 45ed Forestburg). If you guys check out the Sixmania Facebook page he goes nuts on it every week when he sees the rankings. It’s hilarious.
 
No kids here if you want to look me up I actually put my name as my username I’m not a you know what and hide myself. Me and sixmania I like to prick people same as they do me. Yes we were 45d by a very disciplined team and no excuses they were better.

Well my friend I think you have other things to be worried about other than rankings... How about Bryson in a couple of weeks? Maybe that should be your focus.

True, but the point I was trying to make is that at the end of the day rankings are just...rankings. They have no bearing on what goes on on the football field. Anyone who would legitimately get that upset over rankings that Granger does in his own free time because of his love of the game needs to get a life. Last I checked the rankings don't determine playoff seeding or have any true importance, so why get mad? If your team is really that good they'll do the talking on the field.

Wow. The stupid is strong with this one.
 
Rankings are kinda like riding a registered horse...... you know he ought to be a good ride but until he proves himself to you , all the papers are good for is to clean yourself with......... I kinda cleaned that up a bit.....
