Silverton ISD has an opening for a boys basketball coach and possible AD for the right candidate. Silverton is a great place to live, teach, and raise kids. The small town atmosphere is like a family. Everyone is very welcoming. Although we're growing, small class sizes and low student-teacher ratios forge a close relationship between everyone in our school. Close the top of the panhandle, we are nearly smack dab in the middle of Amarillo and Lubbock. With about 210 students K-12, and roughly 65 kids in high school, it offers the small town life that is great for kids. Very welcoming town with great, supportive people, staff, and admins.

Boys basketball team will return 3 starters including 21-22 District Newcomer of the Year, 22-23 District DPOY, and 22-23 District MVP. Football team will return 5 of 6 starters on both sides. Track team shows signs of strengthening graduating no seniors from an already record setting year and a good showing at the state track meet. Athletic program has been in good hands and is looking for someone to join the staff to continue the great things happening here. Great kids and great staff to work with who get along and support each others' accomplishments and goals.

Silverton also offers a 4-DAY SCHOOL WEEK! Monday-Thursday. It has been great for our staff and students. We plan to continue as long as it's allowed.
