Wonder Dog , you and I should get together and discuss the future of Community Christian football. The players are working hard and improving. I thought speed was going to be a big factor for us this year, but I see big is the factor along with speed. We will continue to work hard to get better every week.

From seeing them in the semifinals, I could tell Orange was a very talented bunch.

And guess what (note: take this to heart if you plan to play football anytime beyond week 12) ... I've seen the Orange coaches at the clinics and they are serious about off-season training.

In the beginning of the year, I figured Orange was going to be on our schedule sometime around week 12-14 (I actually thought we'd play Freddy in week 13 instead of 14, and I was thinking Jesus Chapel or Notre Dame in the finals).

Next year, if they decide not to start looking forward to basketball season around late November, they should be pretty tough opposition in that month and the beginning of the month to follow...
