Numbers

I just looked back through and I believe numbers are entered for all the schools that have been entered. That said, I'll have to code in an exception for Fort Hancock. Should be able to get that done early tomorrow morning. Since they're a correctly active team, and not listed as a UIL team, the system is ignoring them from the enrollment page.
Thanks Mike, we all appreciate what you do!

From the UIL Realignment Policies and Procedures located here: UIL Realignment

III. Conference A shall consist of all schools with an enrollment of
104.9 or lower (grades 9-12 enrollment numbers.)
I. Football Exception
a. Schools with 104.9 or fewer students in grades 9-12
may choose to:
i. participate in Conference A (six-man)
football, or
ii. participate in Conference 2A (eleven-man
football) but remain in Conference A for
other applicable activities.
II. Schools with over 104.9 in grades 9-12, AND that are
CURRENTLY participating in six-man football, may use
an alternative calculation method to determine if they may
continue in Conference A football. Alternative calculation
methods (football only) are:
a. Grades 8-11
b. Grades 7-10
c. Grades 9-10 doubled
III. These alternative calculations apply only to six-man
football. For all other activities, schools are placed in 2A
based on their grades 9-12 enrollment.

UIL released the official submitted enrollments. Here's where they're at:

I've updated all the school enrollments that were missing on our enrollments page, and I'll try to re-check all the ones that were already entered, for accuracy, tonight. So far, assuming all the numbers I have are accurate, the system is projecting a cutoff of 57.5, which would leave us with about 77 DI schools and 76 DII schools. That said, there are maybe a few schools that I don't have listed too (such as Fort Hancock) that I'll try to get added tonight as well.

As to "other sports" I am seeing 5 teams drop from 2A to 1A: Fort Hancock, Fruitvale, Graford, Iraan, and Ralls.
Moving up from 1A to 2A: Boy's Ranch, Hamlin, Cross Plains, and Munday. I assume Boy's Ranch used an alternate method to come up with a number allowing them to remain 6-man?
I also assume Iraan and Ralls will opt for 11-man and Graford will remain BB only

Some numbers previously reported from some schools are a little off on the uil enrollment page. Some schools have more than they say and some have less. Most are spot on.

Is there still a way to double count the two lower classes in HS or have they gotten rid of that?

Yes see this post

So schools with enrollment numbers lower than 104.9 can't use the alternative methods anymore correct? Only ones that are over 104.9. In other words schools on the verge of D2 can't play around with their enrollments anymore like it was in the past? Thank you for the info
