Nueces Canyon JH/HS is a Class A school with approximately 140 students. NCCISD is looking for an energetic individual that can meet the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University
Texas Teaching Certificate
CDL is preferred

- Develop a disciplined culture within the Boys’ Athletic Program that promotes accountability, and positively impacts the campus, district, and community. This impact should be evident in the conduct of the athletes
- Engage in character-development programs and techniques to promote academic, behavioral, and social growth
- Have knowledge of football fundamentals. Develop and implement innovative, successful 6-man football strategies, with a critical component being a successful, organized, strength and conditioning program
- Have knowledge, skills, and experience to evaluate and improve all sports in the Boys’ Athletic Program
- Have knowledge of overall operations of an athletics program, and be well-versed in state and UIL policies governing athletics
- Demonstrate the ability to manage budget and personnel, interpret policy, procedures, and data
- Possess strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills that successfully lead, motivate, and properly prepare the Boys’ Athletic Program for success
- Work well with other coaching staff, show loyalty to the profession, and be willing to serve in a small school setting
