I don't know about the rest of you, but this Notre Dame team that is movine down a division looks pretty stout. they only have 2 starters returning but have a quarterback that was unable to play last year due to a shoulder injury. They've already registered a wide receiver from Iowa Park and a Linebacker from City View. This team is going to have some strength this upcoming year and with their easy schedule it is entirely possible this team goes undefeated in the regular season.

I agree that christway will be a team to reckon with. Rumor has it that they will be getting the starting running back from duncanvile high who is an amazing athlete. He rushed for 1,200 yeard his freshman year and 1500 his sophmore. If your like me, your asking why he's transfering and its because duncanville high got a new coach who is known for the spread offense and he wont get his touches. It doesn't make total sense to me but thats what coaches are saying. They sure do have a tough schedule and if they make it though that they will surely be the team to beat. But this Notre Dame team is like one you have never seen

Every school is getting the next reincarnation of [insert name of your favorite football stud here] transferring in every summer.

I subscribe to the Apostle Thomas theory of transfers. Like the Apostle Thomas, once I put my hand in His side and fingers in the holes in His hands, I'll believe.

I have a great love of six-man football. But if I were this young man and his talents are anywhere near what you've described, I'd advise him to consider one of the excellent 11-man private schools in the DFW area, because then his possibility of playing college ball (albeit probably at a D-2 or D-3 school and a possible scholarship) is much better than at even the best six-man schools.

But as you said, it doesn't make sense. And there is something to be said for being in a smaller school setting.

Again, as for a transfer, there's a lot of time between now and August.

you better all just pack up and leave beceause this is the wichita christian stars year to win state. their people always talk alot on the message board, so naturally they have to be good. I suscribe to one rule in six man football, the more message board chatter you get, the better you are.

As for wichita christian their quarterback is gone their all-state wide receiver and their runningback who all played both ways are now gone along with a lineman on both sides so no wichita christian going to state but i want to see who everyone thinks notre dame will lose to and why

i dont think wichita could have won state even if they hadent have lost those players (my previous ost was sarcastic, examine the logic). I dont know much about Notre Dame, but there gonna have to be pretty darn good to take down Christway. Brian Linn is a man with a gun for an arm, and Kolby Burns runs so fast that they ground catches on fire. Dont count Freddy out either. They have good returning size and speed, and a very solid coaching staff.

The young man will most likely stay at Duncanville. As Lifegate stated we all have young men that show interest in transfering to our schools but most of them end up just teasing us. Reasons that he might have transfered are that his mother wants him away from the influences of Duncanville, also his brother has attended CWA for 3 years so we have a connection. Whatever happens we will play with the kids we have. I learned long ago that never count your chickens until they hatch and with our economy who know's what will happen.
In my opinion until Freddy is beat they are the favorite one more time.
Also look out for Tyler Street, they have some athletes and Coach Favors is returning to the school and he will have them ready.

i stand corrected on some of my "facts" i said that notre dame got a football player from iowa park but he has not played a down in 2 years and also the supposed quarterbacks name is jonathan line he was their starting point gaurd for their basketball team and believe me this kid is athletic but he needs to hit the weight room a little more. im not saying this team can do things in playofs but if they get lucky against bryson and saint jo as was pointed out to me then they could go undefeated but they could definately be a 9-1 or an 8-2 team

There must be something in the water up in Wichita Falls. This year Notre Dame is the be all to end all and last year it was Wichita Christian from Seeing Stars.

I believe they have a syndrome commongly known as "Wehavenoonetocompareourselvestoitis." It's somewhat rare but most prevelant in the distant rural areas. Fans can catch it by watching only their own athletes and having no other talent to look at.

The cure is simple and thank goodness readily available. They just have to wait it out till September and this syndrome will vanish into thin air along with all the talk about how good their team is.

i was being sarcastic when i said that they are like no other team you have ever seen but it also might be true. this team does have the possibilty of going undefeated but only becasue they have quite possibly the easiest schedule in all of six man football but when they go up against someone good in playoffs they will see how one-dimensional this team is with their quarterback
