does anybody have any word on the condition of the milford player that got hurt friday night? just wondering what the final say was on his injuries were, he didnt look too good
Yes he has bruised ribs. Just very sore right now. But he will be back out on the field cant say this coming Friday but soon. He is a senior so you know it will be hard pressed to keep him on the sidelines considering its homecoming night.
Aquilla to Milford? Would never be done. Milford is alot of homegrown boys. A few kids from Italy though. It's just up the road. I am from about 30 minutes away and can assure you that particular move wouldn't happen
Can't play the score game. Every football game is different. You aren't the first to think this way and I know it makes sense in your head but you can't compare that way. You can if this or if that but truth be known, IF worms had machine guns, birds wouldn't mess with em. Good luck to Milford this year. Where is Mr. Essary?
Milford will always be competitive as long as the bloodline continues to live there. It started in the 70's with the Cooks, Hightowers, Singletons and Carters. That same blood came back around in the 90s with the Singletons, Gates, Cooks, Pendltons and Essarys. Now that same blood is here again in Russell, Essary, Gates and Evans
I agree with you some of the last names have changed, but the blood lines remain the same. The four you listed all have relatives that was on the last state championship teams from Milford. Essary (uncle Clearance Green ), Russell,Gates (Lawrence Matthews, cousin Tracy Hightower, Evans (cousin Kenneth Harvey).
Somebody has really done their research...But the bloodlines are allllll true..... These young men deserve whatever accomplishments come their way this year....Just excited about what they have already accomplish...They have really made the six man nation take a second look at them...Hardwork is paying off....
Well if you look a Milfords history you will take note that it’s not a Railroad town. Meaning, it was an actual a settlement based around community and not a place for railroad operation to base from.
Many of the old railroad towns have dwindled down since the 60's. Populations that were once in the 1000s are now to a few hundred.
And your right when you say bloodlines....because when I look back at my alma-mater you can see the difference. Buckholts is lucky just to have one or two kids in the 150lb range. The people there are still proud and just enough to keep the school hanging around.
