Mid season stretch

Now entering week 6 we officially have to start mentally preparing for district play in 3 or 4 weeks. Which teams so far have been the biggest surprise this season? Who are the dark horses for a deep run in the playoffs? Any district upsets that could happen? Will the Richland Springs drama affect the team mentally come playoff time? Will a school win their first state title? Let’s talk about it….

District 8-1A
Highland may be a sleeper. their record doesn't show it but they have kept up with teams that were predicted to 45 them. I would be on the look out for them to try and push their way into the 2nd seed, as we all know Westbrook is going to win that district.

Also, Look for Irion County to make a deep run and possibly push for a trip to Arlington.
