McLean V Garden City, Milford V Leakey

Perhaps you missed my earlier post. After 50 years of coaching youth sports I retired. As far as playing Milford, I would be the first to tell you that Milford is much too talented for our current team. Secondly I seriously doubt your coach would want to schedule a game that wouldn’t be challenging enough to improve his team. Apparently YOU would be happy to schedule anyone as long as you could claim a “win”. A true testimony as to your character or lack there of.
Keep on partying ! .............

So until your team can beat Milford , lay off the Milford hate. 50 years of a good career and all you can post about is Milford lol. You talk about Milford so much i think your a fan. If you want I can get you a white Playoff shirt and you can wear it in AT&T?? Let me know what size you wear... you’ve been coaching for 50 and no team you have coached can be my boys lol. #SeeYaAtAT&T

The person who posts on this site with the greatest amount of hate and vitriol is none other than you. Yes over the years I have been honored to coach young men that have gone on to play in college and a very few pros. If you know anything about the statistics (which I doubt) you would know the percentages are quite small. About 1% make it to the pros and actually make a team. If you go back and read your own posts you will see just how far out in LaLa Land you are. According to your assessment, every Milford player, going back to creation, is good enough for any 6 A team, college team or pro team. You have no grasp of reality.
Everyone one wants to continue playing, but as I was told once in my short racing career “son you just run out of talent”. It’s something everyone has to face at some point.
Your proclamations to the contrary, even though your team is very good, there is saying that is a truism;
“There ain’t never been a horse that hadn’t been rode, and there ain’t never been a cowboy that’s never been Throwed”. Perhaps someday your IQ might finally match your age. Until then you will remain emotionally and intellectually immature and many will have to endure your drivel, tirades and temper tantrums long after I’m gone.
Since you like to ask questions, here is one for you, what are YOU doing for Others?

You came out of nowhere and started hating Milford after they beat Aquilla... Is this Englishman on his burner account?

Congrats to Milford, just getting to state is a great accomplishment. Just a humble prediction, Mr. Insider won’t have much to say after about the first quarter of the state game. Humble prediction! TIGERS!!!!!

Was Taron hurt tonight? If not, Milford will lose to the Garden City/McLean winner. Then again, getting to the state game is nothing to sneeze about.

What make you thinks that Taron was hurt? He doesn’t have to do everything for the team for them to get a win...he still had two touchdowns and really didn’t have to do anything cause if they can’t stop the other players from running all over them then why change what you’re doing? That’s why he was Qb majority of the game. But just because he didn’t do that much last night makes you think they will lose to Garden City/McClean. Lmaoo

Herein lies the problem with 6-man if you don't 45 an opponent early boy you're not as good as the hype. I call bull on all of this haterade. Just face the facts WE(Milford) have a pretty good team. And on Any Given game night you don't know who will emerge as the game changer. And we love it like that. Keep spreading the love boys. And if you think McLean/GC will run all over Milford you are delusional and need to come to a game instead of listening to it... SEE YA at Jerry's World.... #onepackonegoal

memo to MI: I don’t “hate” any teams. I observe and state my opinions. Very few folks take offense to that.
I’ve complimented the Milford team, I’ve complimented it’s players, I’ve acknowledged that as fans you have a right to be proud of your team. But evidently, anything short of pure 100% adulation make you a Milford “hater”. I don’t know anyone at Leakey, McLean, Garden City, Milford, Richland Springs or Oakwood. I have simply stated my opinions which, until the Socialist Democrat Party takes over, is still legal. So you can continue to call me and anyone and everyone else that doesn’t agree with you 100% a “Milford Hater”, and the other names you commonly call folks. however it only serves to reveal your deep seated insecurities.
FOX NEWS ALERT ! Nothing anyone says on this or any other site will affect the outcome of the games !
Accept it !
Enjoy the coming week!

Smith will be the kid from Milford sitting on the bench sucking wind by the end of the 1st quarter.

These championship games will be pretty uneventful.

McLean wins their semi-final game and both Strawn and McLean win their respective championship games and send Follet and Milford home half way thru the 3rd unless the coaches decide to throw some youngsters in.

You haven’t seen Taron sit on the bench and sucking for wind one game this year so I doubt he’ll do it in the state game. And McClean has to beat Garden City first.

It seemed like he had a few good runs/plays early in the game, I thought I saw him grabbing his hamstring after one the only one he went "video game mode" on Leakey, and his speed did not seem to be the same after that. In contrast, #11 and #2 dusted Leakey while Taron did not. Can Taron out run #2 and #11 usually?

Against Leakey, yes. While I am despise Leakey with every fiber in my being and am so happy that Milford won, I am trying hard not to bring their kids into it. With that said, however, there were times that it looked like Leakey players were running with, like how two or more kids run with each other in cross county, #11 as he ran the ball. Honestly, they were scared crapless of #11!

I saw Strawn and Oakwood play on Thursday, which are both teams Milford played this year. I highly highly highly doubt #1 or #50 from Oakwood or any of those big Strawn boys wearing #40 something were so scared of #11 from Milford that it looked like they were running cross country with him.

Yes, I think Milford will lose to either Garden City or McLean if Taron plays "tight QB" and/or is not an impact player. #11 is a great player, but I highly doubt Garden City and/or McLean, like Oakwood and Strawn, will be scared to tackle him like Leakey. While I may be wrong, I think it is a pretty well reasoned opinion since I have never seen anything else like it. I actually hope Milford wins the state title but am skeptical for the reasons listed above.

If that makes me a hater, then please accept my sincerest apologizes!

I kind of see your point of view. Here’s mines..
If Ta’Ron is in superstar mode running and passing the ball and Milford compliments that with the power using #11 then that makes Milford’s offense complete.
I’m not saying Ricky will run all over GC/McLean like he did leaky but if he has good game maybe 2 Rush TDs 75 + yards, and Ta’Ron goes off for 300 pass and 100 rush then whoever the opponent is, they’re is store for a long night.

I agree with your assessment, but could Taron be hurt? There aren't many players who play better against Burkhart's Coyotes as a sophomore than a new sixman team with....average talent as a senior.

Ta’Ron isn’t hurt...
Ta’Rons sophomore year game Vs RS was incredible! A lot of people don’t know that Milford had to play that game without there best Defensive player (Jarvis Harris, Noseguard, the kid had multiple games with +20 tackles and was just dominant.) Ta’Ron went into that game knowing he would have to outscore RS, Milford Started our slow falling behind early 40–16 then came alive to make it 40-30 in the 3rd quater before Ta’Ron got hurt. Not to take anything away from RS or burkhart, but if Smith doesn’t get hurt and Harris doesn’t miss that game we’re talking about a sophomore lead team potentially beating a 1A dynasty in the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Ta’Rons freshman year his very 1st highschool game he goes into Jonesboro and go’s crazy! His very first carry was for a 40 yard TD. He had Milford up 28 points in that ball game and Milford was picked to be 45ed. Jonesboro would come back and win after Ta’Ron left the game with injuries, SR quaterback Tyler F left the game with injuries, and JR Devonteh W left the game with injuries. That game is up on YouTube under the sixmania files I believe, search Milford vs Jonesboro 2015.

I’m telling you that darn Ta’Ron is something special. He can throw the football a mile! He’s so darn ellusive, some of the best defenders in 1A will have him dead to rights and then he zigs then zags then he’s trotting into the end zone. I just haven’t seen anything like this on the 1A level... ever. For all of y’all who haven’t seen Ta’Ron play, your in for a treat at AT&T
