Leakey Coach Kurt Nichols Passed Away

Please pray for the Nichols family at this time. Leakey and the football community has lost another great coach and mentor to many. Kurt had a long career as an 11 man college and high school head coach. He came to the Sixman game in 2019 as the head coach at Medina. After two years in Medina he accepted the AD head football position at Leakey. RIP Kurt, you will be missed!

I played under Coach in college…. He was the last of a dying breed of coach’s, he will be missed.

Know Coach Nichols from our days coaching junior college football. Really enjoyed our friendship and his passion for coaching. This is a big loss for the profession. Rest in Peace Coach.
