I made it over to the Richland Springs and Austin Hill Country game on Friday, and what a game it was too! I'll tell you that Austin team had some real athletes. There was one of the Richland Springs players that surprised me though. Number 72, Poe, went in on special teams and made some big hits from the best that I could tell from where I was. I believe that his older brother a few years back was a kind of a "late bloomer" also. He seemed to begin to mature during his senior year, and by playoff time, was a real power to be reckoned with. I believe that "little brother" may be starting to come around too.
