But Chuck Conners played MLB,,for the Dodgers,I think?

Chuck Connors played pro Basketball for the Boston Celtics and Baseball for the Brooklyn Dodgers and later The Chicago Cubs as well as several other minor league teams.

Sorry Doggy, Wrong.............. You are correct that the 44-40 holds 11 rounds but the shots were actually dubbed in to provide a distinctive sound. They also added 1 shot so the answer is 12.
