Mr Smokey I make a run through Procter every time I go see my wonderful parents. They're in Comanche. Thank you for letting me know your so close. This is getting to know each other and where were from. The way I feel is it doesn't matter where we live, what team we cheer for, or whose beating who, cause it's all about the boys. All teams bring us entertainment. The boys play their hearts out and that's a great big thank you from me.
Actually I don't live in that area although there are some mighty good people around there ........ I was talking about my erstwhile collegiate days at John Tarleton institute ...... We would on rare, special occasion venture southward to explore the entertainment aspects of Proctor.......

The liquor stores??????

It saddens my heart but I can't travel very far. I've had 3 back surgeries, triple bypass and I have kidney failure. My husband is a Superintendent for a Construction Company. If anyone does that kind of work they know theres no set time to get off work. The kids decided to take the job in RS and that's about a 3 and 1/2 hour drive. When the games start at 7:30, it's impossible to get anywhere on time, even if I could travel. It breaks my heart that maybe 2 times a year that I get to watch them. Last year I made it 3 times but it wasn't without a lot of pain. I hope this explains everything Mr Cowboy. Back to being nice and having a nice day. If this film repulses anyone I'm sorry. It's only on here to see my boy and grandsons.

Well Mr Smokey it had to be the lake or as Mr Oldbearkat put it, the liquor store, lol

Mr Smokey we did too called a soda pop and ladies room.

Does anybody have an e-mail for Ndamukong Suh. He's in trouble again. He needs a link to this thread. Why does anybody that big, strong, talented feel they have to do the things he does?

I had friends that went to Tarleton. I was always happy to get back to Angelo after I visited them.

(It was a pain stopping at Procter to pick up 17 cases of beer on the way into Stephenville. Thank goodness for hauling fees.)

The entertainment aspects I thought you were refering to was the Lakesite Club. Popular watering hole every Wednesday night for Tarleton students.

We have a winner!!!!! DinDing I believe Mark Scott was once a performer and proprieter of that establishment.......... MsMel I feel your pain literally. I too have had back and ankle surgery this year and am currently recovering from the ankle surgery.. ........Maturity is not for the faint of heart.......

Mr Olderelk and Mr Cowboy ya'll have really gotten into what this thread is about LOVE JOY AND PEACE for everyone. My mom used to tell me that I can't save the world but I try anyway. Being haters only makes the one hating miserable. Because the ones that your hating isn't thinking one iota about anyone thats hating. I jumped on this thread because I want to get to know each of you. You love 6man and know so much about 6man I felt that I could find lots of friends here. Thank you Mr Smokey about knowing about the pain and issues with diseases. A lot of people don't but they haven't had to live with it. It's ok with me though. Like Jesus said Father they know not what they do while he was being crucified. That's how I feel about people not knowing my weaknesses that I live with everyday. I love people and I absolutely love being around people who are funny and happy or that's praising our Lord. I heard someone say not these exact words but on the Young Thread to let the kids have fun. That is true in High School Football also. We parents are our kids examples. If were hooping and hollering what are we teaching our kids. I love kids from every team. Kids are Kids and we need to teach them fun. In the video this was the first time I saw it. Mr Oneday had found it and I spotted my kids. The video wasn't to brag it was to see my precious grandkids. I want to see yours also. I want to enjoy watching them. I want to know what your kid excelled in on one of his games or your precious Cheeleaders pictures. I want true friends. I guess I can say I need all of you to be honest. All make my day a lot happier. Everyone of you.

Now there shouldn't be any question about my motives for grabbing up this thread. Now back to NICE. As far as chili tonight I think it's going to be chicken Lasagna. Forgive me but chili smells like armpits, sorry. OK I have to be nice. I'll say this if my husband want's chili then chili it will be. Now I'm listening to the birds out side chirping. While passing my window I saw a lot of dove eating the biscuits I threw out to them and went to check the door to make sure the wild cats we've been feeding aren't ready for an attack. The dogs are at the door wanting to run after a squirrel and I want let them. They have to be nice too. Oh I got so happy Mr. Cowboy with the video of Tiny Tim. Just talking about Tip Toe thru the Tulips and hearing it made the host so happy but kind of like you guys, he didn't want to be that nice. What's happened in your day today?
