I am the rule enforcer. LOL. I make sure the refs follow the rules to the letter, and anything other than perfection, I make sure that they are aware of their wrongness. If you were to listen to the broadcast, you would know that when the time is needed, I remove my headphones and microphone so that I can do my primary job of rule enforcement without interfering with my secondary job of broadcasting, lol.

I know for a fact that if you ask an umpire at a U trip tourney in Lubbock Tx if you and he are watching the same game that bad things will happen. Blue will stop the game and have a conference with your daughter's coach. After the conference, your daughter's coach will have to walk up to fence in front of the stands, shake his finger at you, and say, "Blue told me to tell you to behave."

That's way better than being at the Valley girls JH basketball tourney and having Coach Tyler stop the game, start yelling at you from the home side, continue yelling at you as he walks across the court over to the visitors side, then threatens to have the Hall County Sheriff escort you out of the gym. Tyler has a loud voice. My daughter laughed at me. My wife decided to find a better seat for herself. But I maintain to this day that I was right. I forgot what I was right about, but I know I was right.
Ha.
You...
getting yelled at.
That's funny.

Is anyone around today. My DSH went to clean the trailer and check for snakes. He say's there wasn't any but how did they get in and get out. I feel my leg being pulled. He wants me to go but I have this gut feeling about something being wrong. He saw some pretty good size bucks and a few does. He didn't shoot anything because he's a hunter that waits till nearly the last minute. In fact he enjoys watching them more than shooting them. I have to force him to get a good size no matter what gender deer to pay for the lease. Did any of you have any luck?

I had a good day. Church then lunch with a bunch of friends and watched football all afternoon. I havent killed a deer ( as a result of hunting) in 40 years......... I plan to keep that record intact for a lot longer. It's not much of a challenge down here.

Smokey it sounds like you had a wonderful time with friends and football. That is something no one will ever forget, is friends and you have a honey for a wife. The best part is putting God first.

Yeah DSH got in around 5:30 and I've been looking at his computer but the short time I took a break from clicking I found the doe article. He has one of those moultree camera's and it had 4000 pictures on it. Every time we clicked on does or bucks we had to measure them, Make sure they weren't the same ones (they were except one). He was a purty 9 pt buck.

Throckmorton is a good place to hunt and a lot of big deer have been shot out there. We've got a few wall hangers...uggg that HAVE TO BE DUSTED AND THEY ARE IN THE LIVING ROOM. gross. People that have never laid their eyes on a deer almost freak out when they see the deer. I've had to run after a few. They're pretty fat on the camera so he should get a big one. The people in Throckmorton are really sweet except one. A friend of ours that owned a cafe there 3 or 4 years ago went to the Throck game and we didn't have anything to do so we went. This owner introduced us to a man and woman and told him our boy Coaches at RS. She looked back at me and asked how I knew Neil and I told her we eat at his cafe all the time. I told her were good friends. She turned back around and said "yeah I bet, FAIR WEATHERED FRIENDS". I laughed so hard and looked up at Neil and he shook his head. Guess what ? I still have to face that woman in another cafe around lunch time in Throckmorton. She was so funny. I shared the board with a lot of fantastic people there. Some are still there and some have moved on.

I guess it's time to let this thread die. One of the special guys on here said he was going to stay on Newby's Thread. Smokey it was nice to have this thread to meet all of you. I enjoyed being here. Everyone, I feel that you feel this way to. Maybe when things get boring we can pick it back up. Smokey your the best. I'll never forget you.

MsMel..... Don't be discouraged, everybody is interested in the playoffs right now........ You'll find people drifting in and out throughout the year. When I started the thread I thought it might go 2 pages so I'm amazed it's gone this far.......... Just keep checking in

Thank you Smokey. Your one of the kindest people I had the pleasure of meeting. I really enjoyed your post. I will keep checking because to me a bond was built through your thread. It was fun. Thanks for being who you are. Forever friends. lol I was hoping to make the thread go 40 pages.
